Ian Daburn, former art director for the international salon brand Toni and Guy, needed to develop a presence for his own salon and day spa. Waddell and Conder designed Ian’s flagship space, creating a brand experience that expressed his sophisticated, understated approach. The finished space is an uncluttered environment for personal contact with Ian’s team of stylists.
Waddell and Conder create "Spaces that Communicate" - we bring life to our clients' brand stories through experience-rich, multi-sensory environments. By bridging the practices of interior design and architecture with the disciplines of sales and marketing, we provide a fully integrated approach to experiential design - which includes space planning, interactive multimedia, turn-key fabrication and installation for presentation centers, exhibits, kiosks, concept retail and themed environments.
Waddell and Conder help their clients be more competitive by turning underperforming spaces into revenue producing experiences. They create destination environments for clients’ who believe today’s leading edge sales and marketing is done by communicating a brand story through a three dimensional, multi-sensory experience.
Waddell and Conder, located in Vancouver, Canada, have recently opened an office in Mexico City. These two locations provide perfect “book-ends” to the North American Pacific corridor of Rocky Mountain ski and Pacific Coast beach resorts. Mexico City also offers the advantage of closer proximity to the Mayan Riveria, Caribbean and emerging markets in Central and South America.
